Derek Cook
The South Bay Wakeboard Academy was started by Pro Rider Derek Cook, in 2008. Over the past couple of years Derek has appeared at many schools and camps, and participated in instruction. After realizing how much he enjoyed teaching other about this great sport, he decided to start his own school.
Derek has been a part of the wakeboard scene for the last 10 years now. He has coached for the last 4 years at Ohana Board Shop, NorCal Wakeboard Camps and West Coast Camps.
With his experience in the industry and knowledge of coaching, rest assured that he will supply an adequate amount of knowledge to all his students.
