Spring Training
It’s officially spring and it time to get back in wakeboard shape. What better way to get ready for riding then some air awareness training on the trampoline, balance boards, handle passing, and a pull behind the boat. You can learn alot of what your suppose to do on the water by learning it on the land. We’ll break down the tricks that your working on to their basic forms so that you can understand the physics behind the moves.
1 hour of off water training, includes trampoline practice, indo boards for balance, and handle passing drills and a 30 minute pull on the delta- for $70
Original Wakeskates By Rich Facciano
If you’re not familiar with Rich Facciano, he’s a Delta legend who rode out on the Double Up RV tour back in the day with guys like Greg Nelson and Cory Kraut. About 10 years ago, Facciano picked up a wakeskate and hasn’t strapped in since. Now he’s launching a new wakeskate brand called Original Wakeskates whose name is inspired by his old friend Kraut.
New Year New Video
The Delta enjoyed quite a renaissance in 2011, thanks in no small part to a breakthrough year for Josh Twelker and the documentation skills of Trever Maur. In fact, the tight-knit group from Discovery Bay was responsible for as much killer photography and video as any riding crew in the country. Watch Maur, Derek Cook and Twelker and his brother Jeremy go for the first session of 2012.
